Loading...Introduction to Laravel and Docker
When I first started working with Laravel, I was amazed by its simplicity and ease of use. However, as our application grew, I realized that deploying and scaling it was becoming a major challenge. That's when I discovered Docker. With Docker, I was able to containerize our application and scale it to meet the growing demands of our users.
The Problem with Traditional Deployment Methods
Traditional deployment methods can be cumbersome and prone to errors. You have to worry about setting up the server, configuring the environment, and making sure that all the dependencies are installed. And even after all that, you're still not guaranteed that your application will work as expected. That's why I was excited to learn about Docker and how it could simplify the deployment process.
How Docker Works
Docker uses containers to package your application and its dependencies into a single container that can be run on any system that supports Docker. This means that you can develop your application on your local machine, and then deploy it to a production environment without worrying about compatibility issues.
